Benefits and uses of omega fatty acids

Omega fatty acids (Omega-3, 6, 9) are essential fats that are important for heart, brain, vision and overall health. Omega-3 acids (EPA and DHA) help reduce inflammation, improve mood, memory and heart function, and maintain skin elasticity and vision. They are especially beneficial during pregnancy, as they help form the fetus's nervous system.
It is recommended to take 1000-3000 mg per day with a fat-containing meal to improve absorption.
